Testimonial from a Bright Spark Alumni

Kane Kennett, Acting Senior Trainer – Cable Jointer

Apprentice testimonial - CainI started my cable jointing career in 2002 with no prior experience. The first six months were a steep learning curve, but my apprenticeship gave me the foundation to grow. One of my most memorable moments was completing my first full paper led to lead joint in a day – it was a tough challenge, but it marked a turning point in my career. I’ve been fortunate to have great mentors, and today, I enjoy passing on my knowledge to apprentices.

My advice to new apprentices: Be positive, treat others with respect, and take advantage of the opportunities at Ausgrid. Use what you admire in your mentors to help others.
