We are pleased to advise that following a Section 240 conference with the Fair Work Commission which concluded yesterday, Ausgrid, the ETU and all Unions have agreed an in-principle Enterprise Agreement for the next three years.
This has been a mammoth effort over the past nine months and we would like to thank all involved.

These new rates come with a guarantee that no worker can be worse off by moving to the above percentages. |

A one level increase for an entry level Lineworker equates to a 2.34% increase.
The overall average for a one level increase across Bands A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, D1, D2 is 2.08%. This average figure is indicative only and employees will need to determine the actual percentage increase for their relevant Band and level.
New to trade (entry) example:

The Enterprise Agreement is currently being updated and shared early next week for your consideration.
This in-principle Agreement will be put forward for your vote on Wednesday, 18 December and close at midday on Friday, 20 December.
We would like to thank all those directly involved in reaching this in-principle Agreement.
Further, we thank Commissioner Riordan for his fair and balanced facilitation of this process.
This in-principle agreement is a result of many months of negotiations between Ausgrid and the Unions. It aims to help employees/members keep up with the increased cost of living and recognises their skills and experience in maintaining a safe and reliable electricity network.
