Hunter Homeless Connect is an annual event linking people experiencing homelessness with vital services like housing providers, legal assistance and study opportunities.
The event brings around 2000 guests from Newcastle, Port Stephens, Lake Macquarie, the Hunter Valley and Central Coast together with over 1400 volunteers from more than 100 service providers, offering a one-stop-shop of human and community services.
Hunter Homeless Connect caters for a wider audience than the homeless, providing services to our most vulnerable customers, being those reliant on social housing, students and those at risk of homelessness.
